Afzaal Khan to enter Channel V’s Sadda Haq

Actor Afzaal Khan who has done ‘cop’ roles in Savdhan India will be entering Channel V’s popular show, Sadda Haq – My Life My Choice (Beyond Dreams Entertainment).

He will essay the role of Vikram Thakur, the new foreman or task master appointed by Mr. Agarwal (Mohit Chauhan) to pull down Sanyukta’s (Harshita Gaur) confidence. Vikram’s job will be to give the toughest of tasks to Sanyukta, thereby defeating her and forcing her to go out of the internship.

However, things will turn rather different for Mr. Agarwal as Vikram will turn out to be a very disciplined guy for whom quality of work would matter. The man will have grey shades, but will want his tasks to be completed. His motive will be to get the work done from the interns, and to test their capabilities in all levels. The man will not believe in being biased to anyone, and will clearly tell Mr. Agarwal to deal with his daughter in his own way, as for him, only work would matter.

Will Vikram turn out to be Sanyukta’s saviour with the passage of time?

When contacted, Afzaal said, “This is really a big challenge for me, and I am grateful to Yash (Patnaik) and Karishmaa (Creative Director) for believing in me that I can carry off this role well. I will play the foreman who has been planted in the factory to guide the interns and provide them with various tasks. This is all I can tell you at the moment.”

Afzaal is best remembered for the college brat friend of Gomzy in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. He has also been seen in Kitne Kool Hai Hum, Mulk, Saath Rahega Always, Mamta. He has also acted in two movies directed by Mr. Makrand Deshpande, ‘Shahrukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu’ and ‘Dream Man’.

Afzaal’s entry aired in 23 January’s episode.
