Veera 16th January 2013 Written Update

Ratan yells at Ranvi while chaiji tries to stop her as its a festive day…Ratan tells chaiji that she will not spare Ranvi today and calls him out of his room while Veera watches Ratan get angry…Chaiji tries to defend Ranvi and says he’s a kid and did it all by mistake and Ratan gets furious on knowing that chaiji was their partner in crime…Ranvi sleepily comes of out bed and hugs Ratan but she pushes him away and Ranvi notices veera wearing the dupatta and realizes that Ratan is cross with him…Ratan scolds Ranvi and asks why he ripped his kurta that she had bought for him..Veera tries to cover up for Ranvi and says she forced Ranvi to riphis kurta and stick the lace on her dupatta or else she wouldnt drink milk…Ranvi tells Ratan that it wasnt Veera’s fault and its all him to blame…veera again tries to defend Ranvi and Ratan yells chup !!!…Ranvi then reluctantly tells Ratan that she bought a nice fancy kurta for him wheras Veera’s dupatta was very plain so he stuck the lace from his kurta to decorate it…Ratan pulls the dupatta off Veera and tells Ranvi that her dupatta isnt plain, its made out of silk…She then goes to bring a bag of sparkly stuff and lace that she had bought for Veera’s dupatta and had thought of jazzing it up before they went out to celebrate Lohri…Ratan is hurt and screams that she may frustrated, worried and angry but she isnt mean…the kids innocently watch her vent and chaiji tries to stop her from saying stuff that will not make sense to the kids and make matters worse…Ratan cries and says she isnt mean like her son thinks…tears roll down Ranvi’s eyes to know how much Ratan cares for Veera and how he misunderstood her…Ratan leaves crying and Veera asks chaiji what hurts Ratan so she can apply balm on it…Chaiji tells the kids that Ratan heart hurts and none of us can reach it and only Rab (God) can heal it …

Ratan is in her room upset and Ranvi comes to apologize, Ratan turns away …Ranvi goes to the other side and tells her that he didnt know she had bought all that stuff for Veera and says sorry for what he did…He holds his ears and does utthak baithak when Veera comes from under the bed and joins Ranvi…Ranvi asks why she’s doing that and Veera innocently says she doesnt knwo but is doing it coz he is…Ratan instantly smiles at her innocence…She then asks them to leave and Ranvi says he will once she forgives him…Ratan yells again and aks them to not bother her…ranvi runs off but Veera stays back to tell Ratan to scold her veerji lovingly and not with anger Ratan is amazed by her concern for Ranvi…

Ranvi returns with a bag and tells Ratan to decorate the plain dupatta that chaiji bought for Veera…Both the kids request Ratan and Veera says to Ratan that she will wear the dupatta she decorates and when Ratan begins to decorate the chunni she whispers to Ranvi that she will wear the dupatta he decorated …Ratan hears her whisper and smiles to herself…

Gurpreet and Kartar reach the Lohri celebrations and Gurpreet initiates a patch up and tells her that she never had any ill feelings for ratan but wasnt happy with how Kartar put Ratan over her…Kartar says that he didnt mind what the villagers adi but was deply hurt when she accused him of having any relations apart from a devar bhabi one…Gurpreet aplogizes and so does Kartar with a promise to make each other their top priority…Kartar says he will always support Ratan and Gurpreet promises to put things right with Ratan …

Ranvi gets Veera ready for Lohri and Ratan asks chaiji to come down as hey are getting late…Ranvi stops Ratan at the door and Ratan asks him to stop messing around and she turns to call chaiji when she spots Veera standing with a dupatta for her…veera tells Ratan that she and Ranvi had made it for her and Ranvi asks Ratan to wear it for Lohri…Ratan says there’s no need to dress up but Ranvi says all the other mums come dressed and they want their mum to dress up as well…Chaiji insists as well and Ratan finally agrees…She wears the dupatta with tears in her eyes and the kids are thrilled to see her look beautiful…Ranvi hugs Ratan and praises her and so does Veera by default and Chaiji praises her too with a kiss on the foreheard…and they leave for Lohri…

At the celebrations Baldev is bragging about his kurta that someone sent specially for him..Dalbeer tells Baldev that he does look good in the kurta and this other kid goes to feel the material of Baldev’s kurta nad he rudely asks him to stay away from his kurta…The kid then spots Veera and all the kids run to RanVeera leaving Baldev alone who looks at Veera with a grudge…

Precap: All the kids are dancing in a circle with Veera in the middle…Baldev plans to take revenge and while dancing pushes Veera to the side in a puddle…
